Voted no.1 Hotel in Mcleodganj and Dharamshala

Homely. Budget. Great views. Clean. Quaint. Away from the hustle and bustle. Great service. Safe for the solo traveller. The manager – Javed is ever so obliging. The staff is ever smiling and obliging. Need I say more????

It is a value-for-money place. Clean room, adequate toilet, helpful and friendly Javid and his colleagues. Food is really nice – gourmands and gourmets please excuse. Most important – when in the hotel, spend most of your waking hours on the terrace to take-in the magnificent snow-capped peaks of Dhauladhar. You could also enjoy your chai, coffee or breakfast alongside. McLeod Ganj is a small (and somewhat dirty, if I may say so) place and almost everything of interest is close-by or within a short drive (you might need a car to reach some of the far-off places – don’t miss Naddi view point). Be willing to negotiate 120 steps to reach (down from the main road) the hotel, which is the first thing that Javid mentions to anyone making enquiries about his hotel.

Stayed here for 2 nights and arrived late on the first night. Very quick check-in with a friendly welcome. Room was better than many we have had around india, clean sheets, good facilities and hot water. Room service is a bonus with good food to go with it. The staff are incredibly helpful and speak good English. Location was great with some steps to walk up to the main road but you are a short distance to the noisy square which you don’t hear in this hotel. Recommend it.
